Job Description

Operates forklift or other material handling equipment to lift, load, or move material as directed.
Principle Responsibilities
Performs daily safety inspection of forklift before operating to ensure safety.
Takes proper safety and precautionary measures when operating machinery.
Supports essential logistic operations through storage and transportation.
Notifies technicians in advance when forklifts need service.
Comply with all company safety guidelines and procedures.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications

Competencies
Familiarity and experience using RF scanner for picking, checking, and/or inventory functions
Familiarity and experience using equipment such as sit-down forklift, reach truck, cherry picker
Clean driving record
Manual dexterity
Diligent use of personal protective equipment
Education/Experience:
Performs work under direct supervision with a basic understanding of equipment.
Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Typically requires a high school diploma, fork lift certificate, and 0 to 2 years of experience.
