Line Cook Position Summary: Joey’s is seeking an energetic candidate who is familiar and comfortable with restaurant kitchen procedures and daily tasks, food prep, required line cooking and setting up supply stations are all key components of our kitchen’s success ensuring Joey’s guest satisfaction! Responsibilities/Qualifications: Minimum 1-2 years restaurant experience, will also train Consistently uses/promotes safe and sanitary food handling practices Efficiently prepares all meals per customer order Assists with operating all kitchen equipment, maintaining the kitchen, assist with cooking other menu items and food item packaging Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis Flexibility with schedule Punctual and responsible with reliable transportation Please note: This position may be subject to minimum age requirements as mandated by federal and/or state law.
