Role Overview Seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a pediatric surgery team in an inpatient setting. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with surgeons and APP team to diagnose, treat, and manage pediatric acute and chronic conditions. Lead gastrostomy and wound care management, ensuring optimal healing outcomes. Educate and counsel families and healthcare providers on preventative care, treatment plans, and post‑discharge instructions. Document clinical assessments and treatments to ensure seamless patient care. Qualifications & Skills Master's degree in Nursing. Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse from the Texas Board of Nursing. Preferred: 2+ years of pediatric experience with gastrostomy tubes, stomas, and complex wound care. BLS certification preferred; DEA credentialing is a plus. Additional Details Practice in a well‑established team with opportunities for professional development.
