Radiologist - RUHS - Per Diem

The radiology department at Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is seeking per diem radiologists. This position is available within the Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Radiology affiliation with Riverside University Health System. Located in the heart of beautiful Southern California in the area known as the Inland Empire, the hospital is situated conveniently halfway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs. The ideal candidate would be interested in a mix of imaging studies, mammography optional. A radiology residency with an integrated clinical year began in July 2022. The department is rapidly expanding to meet the needs of patients with over 200,000 imaging examinations per year and ongoing installation of new equipment. The candidate will provide daily on‑site or hourly remote coverage. Any remote coverage must be provided from within the state of CA and the applicant must have California as their state of residency. There is no required work after 8 pm or before 7 am, but hourly work is available. Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is a 439‑bed university‑affiliated teaching hospital with over 60 hospital‑based primary and specialty care clinics located throughout Riverside County. Residents in all specialties, medical students, and critical‑care fellowships rotate through our site. This facility has been named a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission, is a Level I Trauma Center, has a new Center of Excellence for Research, and is a Primary Stroke Center. Compensation & Benefits The compensation range is $325–$350 per hour. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans.
