Quality Systems Technician

Provides administrative and technical support for the Quality Management System (QMS) through the coordination and maintenance of audit programs, document control activities, ESD compliance, calibration systems, corrective action processes, training systems, and quality management applications. Supports compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards while promoting continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Audit Support

• Support the execution and maintenance of Layered Process Audits (LPA Levels 1-3) within the Global Assessment Tool.
• Assist with internal, customer, regulatory, and compliance audits.
• Track audit findings and support timely closure of corrective actions.
• Participate in quality system gap assessments and compliance reviews.
• Maintain audit records and prepare audit-related reports and metrics.

Quality Systems Support

• Maintain Quality Management System records, databases, and documentation.
• Support eQRQC and other quality management system applications.
• Generate and maintain quality metrics and reports, including D4 and D7 aging metrics.
• Support site quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Document Control

• Administer controlled documents through the Document Control Center (DCC) process.
• Process document creation, revisions, approvals, and obsolescence activities.
• Maintain document retention and archival requirements.
• Ensure controlled documentation remains current and compliant with applicable requirements.

ESD Program Support

• Support ESD compliance activities and periodic ESD assessments.
• Maintain ESD monitoring, audit, and compliance records.
• Assist with ESD training and awareness programs.
• Support investigations and corrective actions related to ESD nonconformances.

Calibration and Verification Support

• Coordinate calibration and verification activities for measuring and test equipment.
• Maintain calibration schedules and records.
• Track due dates and ensure timely completion of calibration activities.
• Support torque tool verification programs and equipment compliance requirements.
• Assist with investigations related to out-of-tolerance equipment.

CAPA and Continuous Improvement

• Support CAPA, SCAR, and 8D activities through closure.
• Maintain corrective action databases and tracking systems.
• Monitor action item completion and effectiveness reviews, including D7 and D8 verification activities.
• Assist Quality Engineers with root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects.

Training Support

• Assist with onboarding and recurring quality systems training.
• Maintain training records, matrices, and qualification documentation.
• Support annual retraining and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate training assignments and completion tracking.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional teams in maintaining compliance with quality system requirements.
• Assist with customer and regulatory inspections as required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
