Advanced RN | Critical Care Ambulance NurseThis role involves performing specialized life-sustaining procedures within a hospital-based advanced care ambulance service. The nurse provides immediate emergency care and safe transport for critically ill or injured patients under the guidance of a medical control physician.This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours per week, typically including one 24-hour shift and one 12-hour shift weekly, with on-call responsibilities during nights, weekends, and holidays.Education & CertificationsCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 3 months of hire.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required or to be obtained within 6 months of employment.Operational level Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) training completed within 1 year of onboarding.Licensed Registered Nurse in the relevant state.Completion of Incident Command System (ICS) 100 and 200 courses within 3 months of employment.Experience & RequirementsProven ability to perform emergency medical procedures in high-pressure situations.Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff.Commitment to compassionate patient care and upholding dignity and respect for all individuals.This opportunity is based in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States, offering a supportive and mission-driven environment where your skills will make a meaningful impact on community health.
