This key leadership role oversees daily nursing operations within a specific unit, supports staff development, and promotes a safe and compassionate environment for our residents. Unit Manager Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin (required) Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing Leadership experience preferred (Nurse Supervisor or Unit Manager, etc.) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passion for team-building and delivering person-centered care Unit Manager Responsibilities Manage and supervise nursing staff on assigned unit Oversee daily nursing operations including staffing, scheduling, and workflow Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Monitor resident outcomes, quality measures, and regulatory compliance Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to nursing staff Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting Participate in resident and family meetings to address concerns and ensure satisfaction of care Lead infection control, safety and quality improvement on assigned unit Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of nursing staff as needed Why Join Medical Suites at Oak Creek?
