Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Analyzing workers compensation claims remotely, the full-time Claims Examiner I will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate claim activities while ensuring adherence to service expectations and industry best practices. Key responsibilities Investigate and gather information to determine claim exposure and resolve claims in a timely manner Negotiate settlements within designated authority and communicate effectively with claimants and clients Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for direction professionally Required qualifications 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred Knowledge of licensing and jurisdiction requirements for FL, GA, NC, and SC
