Job Overview

As a Cashier/Server, you’ll keep service moving by welcoming guests, taking and managing orders, preparing and serving food, packing orders, and processing payments. You’ll bring a friendly, attentive approach to every interaction while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced food service environment and can shift smoothly between guest service, cashiering, and basic food preparation.

Hours and Pay:

We are open Monday to Thursday from 11:00AM-11:00PM, Friday and Saturday from 11:00AM-11:30PM, and Sundays 12:00PM-11:00PM. Work hours will correspond accordingly. We are looking to hire someone who can commit to working 2-3 days a week. Our schedule is flexible and we are open to those who are interested in working with us PART-TIME as well . We will pay $150 a day for training (3 days of training total, more days can be added if needed), $200 a day once training period is over. Two meals will be provided every shift if you will be working the full day (pertains to training period as well!)

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, answer questions, take accurate orders, and coordinate order updates from entry through service.
• Pack orders appropriately for delivery
• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system; process cash and other transactions accurately.
• Recommend relevant items and use thoughtful upselling to support sales while keeping guest needs first.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitary; follow food safety procedures throughout each shift.
• Help with restocking supplies such as sauces, utensils, etc. Keep dining areas clean through wiping down and mopping at the end of shift

Skills

• Ability to speak SPANISH OR MANDARIN CHINESE is strongly preferred but not required.
• Customer service, serving, cashiering, cash handling, basic math, and retail sales transaction skills.
• Food handling, sanitation, clean workspace maintenance, and food safety management knowledge.
• Time management and the ability to manage multiple guest orders in a quick-service setting.
• Food service, restaurant, café, culinary, food industry, or quick-service and fast-food restaurant experience is helpful but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems is useful
