Details Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 36 or 48-hour schedules EPIC EMR experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred BLS and ACLS certification required PALS certification required TEAM, TEAM-A, or CPI certification required NIH Stroke Scale certification required Minimum of 3 years of ER experience required Recent experience in the ER specialty within the last 3 months required No prior disciplinary action on nursing license allowed Additional Information Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned ER patients following established standards and the nursing process Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop care plans Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane care Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members Holiday RTO requests will not be approved Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined Local candidates accepted with no radius rule; local rates are the same as travel rates Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment American Traveler Job ID P-748604.
