Job Description
The Skidsteer Operator/Skiploader Operator plays a crucial role in managing heavy machinery primarily at construction sites. This solo operator is responsible for the removal of asphalt and other related materials, ensuring smooth workflow and site preparation. Daily travel between various sites is expected, requiring independence, precision, and reliability in equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate skidsteer and skiploader machinery efficiently and safely
- Transport and remove asphalt and other materials from construction sites
- Perform basic maintenance and daily checks on equipment
- Adhere to all safety regulations and site protocols
- Communicate effectively to report site conditions or equipment issues
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation
- Proficiency in skidsteer and skiploader operation
- Basic skills in equipment maintenance
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively, even as a solo operator
