Senior Credit Underwriter

Civista Bank is seeking a Senior Credit Underwriter to lead complex commercial and consumer credit evaluation for a growing, community-focused bank. In this role, you’ll analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and credit reports to assess risk, structure terms, and prepare detailed credit memos. You will partner closely with relationship managers to support prudent portfolio growth while maintaining strong asset quality. Responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance, identifying emerging risks, mentoring junior underwriters, and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance in a collaborative, relationship-driven culture.
