A respected multi-state law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join its Roseville, California office. This opportunity offers the ability to work on a variety of civil litigation matters, including construction defect and business litigation, within a collaborative and collegial environment that emphasizes professional growth, teamwork, and long-term career development.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling California civil litigation matters and possess strong legal writing, research, and communication skills. Attorneys who are comfortable managing litigation responsibilities independently while collaborating with colleagues on case strategy will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle construction defect, civil litigation, and business litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal research memoranda
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and related proceedings
• Collaborate with senior litigators on case strategy and execution
• Manage litigation matters while maintaining high standards of client service

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar membership required
• California civil litigation experience required
• Construction defect and/or business litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Trial experience is a plus, but not required
• Nevada or Texas licensure is a plus

Compensation

• Salary range: $120,000 – $170,000
• Monthly performance bonuses
• Annual bonuses based on performance and billable achievements
