Direct Support ProfessionalLocation: Titusville PAStatus: Part-Time HourlyFLSA classification: Non-ExemptSchedule: Flexible hours - possible for up to 40 hours per week.Summary of Position: The Direct Support Professional is an hourly, part-time role dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.Responsibilities:Provide compassionate, person-centered care in home or community settings, ensuring the health and well-being of individuals.Assist with daily living activities: hygiene, meals, and medication reminders.Support individuals in achieving personal goals and participating in social activities.Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team.Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment.Qualifications/Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent is required.Additional coursework or certification in human services or related fields is a plus.Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a team.CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtainProficient computer skills required; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus.Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage is required.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Benefits Available:Voluntary DentalVoluntary VisionUNUM Supplemental Benefits403(b) Retirement Savings Plan.Employee Assistance ProgramPet InsuranceDirect DepositCompetitive Weekly PayFlexible ScheduleYouth Advocate Programs, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
