JOB SUMMARY:The Cocktail Server is responsible for the service of beverages in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction.POSITION AUTHORITY:The incumbent is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out assigned duties and responsibilities, provided such action is consistent with position guidelines as outlined below.POSITION GUIDELINES:Position guidelines include, but are not limited to, established company and department policies and procedures and all supervisory directives. The incumbent is expected to exercise sound, reasonable judgment and initiative, and give high priority to accuracy and details in the performance of job responsibilities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company's business operationsThe position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can multitask with ease, and maintains a positive attitude under pressureCheck and maintain proper set-up and cleanliness of service station frequentlyGreet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain all specials and promotionsTake orders, reciting selection of all house and premium brands as requested, requires memorization of all available drinksInputs orders into POS system to inform bartender an order was madeReplenishes beverages as requested, frequently checking back with guest to inquire about satisfactionAny and all other duties as assigned; duties are subject to change as management deems necessary to best serve the needs of Moody GardensEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma preferredPrior server experience preferredMust obtain TABC & Food Handlers Certification prior to beginning workREQUIRED SKILLS:Must have knowledge of beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic brandsStrong communication skillsMust have a strong knowledge of various drinks, the ability to manage bar inventory effectivelyAbility to remember, recite and promote the variety of drinksPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to remain on feet throughout the shiftAbility to work continually in a confined space #J-18808-Ljbffr
