Assembly OperatorThe assembler uses a variety of tools to manufacture the products. An assembler is detailed oriented and is responsible for carrying out tasks to ensure all products made meet the standards of the BSP.ResponsibilitiesAssembling and testing all manufactured products prior to being shipped to the customerParticipating in continual training and developmentCompleting daily reports to indicate goods that have been shipped and to identify late ordersReading and following basic diagrams, drawings, specifications, bills of material, and instructions to accurately assemble components into finished productsAssisting other Assemblers when requiredPerforming work in accordance with quality standards and safety proceduresMaintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace or assembly stationOther duties as assignedQualificationsTeamwork skills and the ability to work independentlyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAttention to detail to follow directions thoroughlyAbility to work quickly and efficiently while performing repetitive tasksAbility to self-motivatedOn the job trainingPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of standing up to 8 hours or more.Must be able to lift and carry objects of varying sizes and weightsSpend significant time on their feet, walking the production floorBend, stoop, or kneel to access machinery, inspect products, or perform tasks at various heights.Ability to follow safety guidelines. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE) and identifying and mitigating safety hazards.
