Exciting Registered Nurse Opportunity: Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team!

Job Description:


- Positions Available: 2
- Working Hours: Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Patient Population:
- Pediatric and Med-Surg experience preferred.
- Focus on adult patients (females over 18).
- Care for post-partum mothers, post-operative patients, and general med-surg.

Responsibilities:


- Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age and needs.
- Ensure high-quality, efficient, and safe care aligned with unit standards.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, establishing priorities based on patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans within established timeframes.
- Evaluate and modify care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Participate in health education and discharge planning for patients and families.
- Execute timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
- Conduct Point of Care testing procedures as needed.

Staff Responsibilities:


- Utilize effective communication strategies for optimal outcomes.
- Delegate and coordinate team assignments based on patient and unit needs.
- Participate in the orientation of new staff and students on the unit.
- Promote a positive work environment and display a supportive attitude.
- Collaborate with others to achieve unit and organizational goals.

Job Requirements:


- Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Skills: Current knowledge and skills relevant to patient population.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
- Experience: Newly hired nurses with two or less years as a Registered Nurse will be hired at entry-level status. Higher clinical ladder considerations available based on relevant experience and education.
