About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as a strategic partner and advisor to the President and CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination, sequencing, and follow-through of the organization's highest priorities, managing the strategic planning process, and serving as the primary staff liaison for governance. This role involves preparing a wide range of executive-level materials, ensuring consistency of message in internal and external communications, and supporting the Senior Leadership Team in advancing organizational priorities. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in Board relations, and governance, and will hold confidential responsibility for sensitive organizational matters. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years' leadership experience in a relevant field. The role requires a strong understanding of nonprofit governance, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage a strategic planning process. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with a chief executive and a governing board, leading cross-functional initiatives, and supporting organizational planning and decision-making. The Chief of Staff will be expected to demonstrate sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. Supervisory experience and a proven track record of holding peers and senior colleagues accountable are also essential.
