District Sales Manager

Role Details Job Title: District Sales Manager Location: Remote – Nebraska, United States Reports To: Regional Vice President of Sales Employment Type: Full Time Job Requisition ID: 2026-611 | Requisition Begin Date: 06/18/2026 | Requisition End Date: 08/18/2026 (Posting may close earlier if filled or business needs change). Responsibilities Develop a strategic territory plan by identifying and meeting with prospective agents regarding ProAg’s insurance offerings. Drive additional business through a variety of means including agency visits, social events, trade shows, and correspondence. Meet or exceed sales goals for both existing and new business within Nebraska. Develop and maintain a database of current and prospective agents. Serve as a primary relationship owner, trusted advisor, and point of contact for assigned agent accounts to help them grow and manage their business. Become a subject‑matter expert on ProAg’s products, business, and applications and stay up‑to‑date on industry trends. Gain and maintain a clear understanding of Crop Insurance and ProAg’s Standard Reinsurance Agreement. Monitor competitor and industry trends to identify trends and changes in the marketplace. Collaborate with internal resources to prepare for and deliver training or educational events with regional training staff on ProAg programs, products, and technology. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and government regulations. Perform other relevant duties and projects assigned. Qualifications At least two years of sales experience (crop insurance experience preferred). Exceptional communication skills with the ability to facilitate cross‑functionally. Knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable areas of the company’s business. Ability to work independently and focus on achieving organizational goals with drive and energy. Strong ability to build trust and relationships with key constituencies. Required to travel outside normal work location; travel up to 75%. Must be able to develop strategic territory plans and meet sales goals.
