The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating primarily geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurological, and medical problems. They are also responsible for completing the required documentation, including an initial evaluation, daily progress notes, physician progress notes, home exercise programs, and billing information.Our mission at Encore Wellness is to improve the lives of seniors through wellness. As our physical therapist, you will positively impact thousands of lives by providing exceptional therapy care to our client's senior population surrounding your clinic.What you do:Performs an effective evaluation by accurately assessing ROM, strength, sensation, and functional status, including gaitIdentifies problems that can be addressed with treatment and sets realistic goals for the patientDemonstrates good working knowledge of modalities, including indications and contraindications for useUtilizes your knowledge of exercise programming as a strategy to provide appropriate improvement of ROM, strength, functional status, and decreasing painCapable of working with geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurological, or medical problemsKeeps accurate, up-to-date records in patients' chart, including initial evaluation, daily progress notes, physician progress reports, and home programsRoutinely exhibits good patient relations skillsAbility to provide exceptional communications by adjusting approach or tone as needed based upon patient needsAbility to use time management and effective use of a PT Aide to meet or exceed productivity needsBe willing to cover shifts at all 3 Tucson and 1 Green Valley locationsWhat you know:Graduate of APTA - approved Physical Therapy program, or equivalent.CPR certification (BLS), Arizona Physical Therapy license or license eligible, National Provider Identifier (NPI) numberMinimum of two years’ experience treating in an outpatient clinicWhat will make you exceptional:Alignment with our values and passion for senior careAbility to multi-task, work independently, and in a team environmentPrior experience in effectively using a PT AideBilingual Spanish is a plusWhat we offer:PRN shift coverage as a W-2 employee for coverage as neededOnly commit to shifts that you can coverShift coverages are 7:30am-4:30pm weekdays onlyCompetitive hourly rate dependent on your experience ($65/hr)401(k) Eligibility following 90 DaysBackground checks and drug screening are part of our employment process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
