Field Technician

If you\'re someone who prefers being out in the field instead of behind a desk, this opportunity was built for you. This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently, traveling, and tackling hands-on work with minimal supervision. You\'ll spend the majority of your time in the field collecting and documenting utility pole data. What You\'ll Do Conduct field inspections and data collection on utility poles throughout Kentucky. Identify and document communication attachments and utility infrastructure accurately. Navigate assigned routes independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Utilize maps and project documentation to support field activities and route planning. Operate a company vehicle and travel to project locations across the state. Complete limited office-based mapping and administrative work as needed. Work independently in the field while communicating progress to supervisors and project leadership. What You Bring Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel throughout Kentucky. Ability to work independently with little direct supervision. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document field observations. Experience in landscaping, warehousing, construction, utility services, telecommunications, or other hands-on field environments preferred. Reliable work ethic, self-motivation, and strong time management skills. Ability to stay overnight near project locations when assignments require extended travel.
