Medical Nurse Practitioner Full Time Springbrook Behavioral Health System, Travelers Rest, SC, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1035 Salary Range: $110,000.00 To $135,000.00 Annually Works collaboratively with and under the supervision of a physician to provide medical care to patients. Assess patient needs, will conduct all H&Ps and plan care processes, complete medical reviews for admissions and risk management, evaluates patient’s response to treatment, participates in HR involvement when needed with Employee Health, manages the therapeutic milieu and directs care. This position will serve a patient population ages 5-100. QUALIFICATIONS Registered nurse with active South Carolina license, MSN and certified as Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina, and current South Carolina prescriptive authority. Minimum of five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse, one (1) year experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Licensed as a registered nurse to practice in South Carolina with certification as a nurse practitioner. Physical ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Use advanced practice medical nursing skills to care for physically and/or mentally ill patients, understand technical information from supervisors, charts and reference books, use hands and fingers with skill, rapidly respond to emergency situations, change duties frequently, follow instructions exactly, record information accurately and legibly. Environment inside; protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Noise level light to moderate from patients. Job hazards: bending, lifting, walking, standing routine; exposure to physical and verbal aggression, hazardous wastes, eye strain from extensive reading, writing and computer use, back strain from long periods of sitting at desk.
