Special Access Program Security OfficerQinetiQ is looking for a Special Access Program Security Officer to support our USASSE customer at Ft. Belvoir. A Special Acess Program Security Officer (SAPSO) is a security professional responsible for managing and overseeing security operations, policies, and compliance within classified environments, particularly for working on Special Access Programs (SAP) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). They serve as the primary liaison and access control between uniform service members, government civilians, and government contractors' access to SAP.ResponsibilitiesSecurity Administration & Compliance: Implement, enforce, and maintain security policies in accordance with the NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), ICD 705 standards, and DoD Manual 5205.07.Personnel Security (PERSEC): Manage personnel security records, initiate program access requests (PARs), and conduct indoctrinations and debriefings (For SAP, by doctrine must be on appointment orders as a Special Access Program Personnel Security Official (SPO, USASSE and Army SAPCO will appoint once contract complete)) SPO Training cert through CDSE, 2 nd attachment.Physical Security: Manage SCIF/SAPF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility/Special Access Program Facility) access, conduct daily security checks, monitor alarm systems, and manage visitor control.
