Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced CNC Plasma / Waterjet Operators for projects located in or around Broomall, PA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Safely operate CNC plasma tables and/or CNC waterjet cutting equipment
• Cut conductive metals including steel, aluminum, brass, and copper
• Cut non-metal materials including glass, stone, rubber, wood, and composite materials
• Grind and deburr finished parts
• Perform in-process quality inspections
• Accurately label finished parts and remove scrap materials
• Use overhead cranes to move materials and finished products safely
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and manufacturing drawings
• Utilize measuring tools including tape measures and calipers
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of CNC plasma or CNC waterjet operating experience
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and drawings
• Experience using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices
• Overhead crane experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to safely handle raw materials and finished parts
• Strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and workmanship
