Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join UPMC–GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh area and across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Up to a $15,000 sign‑on bonus is available to eligible candidates upon hire, subject to program terms. Responsibilities Provide urgent care clinical services to patients across all age groups, from newborn to adult. Perform minor procedures, including suturing, casting, and splinting. Read and interpret preliminary EKGs and X‑rays. Collaborate with on‑site radiology technicians and medical assistants as part of a clinical team. Manage patient care through shared decision‑making and problem‑solving. Adhere to scheduling programs designed to promote wellness, efficiency, and safe care. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 1 year full‑time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years in Urgent Care; 2 years in Family Medicine considered. Comfortable performing minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints) and preliminary reads of EKGs and X‑rays. Experience treating patients newborn and up in an acute care setting. Physician Assistants must hold a Master’s degree and NCCPA certification. Nurse Practitioners must hold a Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP certification.
