Step into a vital role supporting middle school students as a Special Education Teacher in a welcoming and fast-growing educational setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in grades 6–8, meeting their unique learning needs.
• Deliver specialized instruction in inclusive, resource, or self-contained settings.
• Track, record, and assess student growth toward academic and behavioral milestones.
• Work in close partnership with general education teachers, school staff, parents, and administrators to ensure every student receives the support they need.
• Remain compliant with state and federal requirements regarding special education policies and procedures.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time contract, 37.5 hours per week for the full current school year.
• Stationed at a single, supportive middle school—no travel between locations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or completion of an accredited teacher preparation program.
• Active Colorado Teaching License with Special Education Generalist endorsement, or eligibility to obtain one prior to the start date.
• Clearance of background check and fingerprinting prior to employment.
• Demonstrated communication, organization, and experience managing IEPs.
