Instructional Support Specialist – Biology Instructional Office Position for teaching assistant for undergraduate biology courses in the College of Natural Sciences. Part‑time or full‑time positions are available for the upcoming academic year. Position Details Department: Biology Instruction Office Location: UT Main Campus Hours: 40 per week (full‑time) or variable Start Date: Ongoing Duration: Expected to continue Job Responsibilities Act as a teaching assistant for undergraduate biology courses. Assist instructors in course preparation, grading, and classroom support. May be assigned to one or more courses in Biology Instruction Office, Molecular Biology, Integrative Biology, or Neuroscience. Required Qualifications Recent graduate or current employee with at least six continuous months of employment at UT Austin. At least one supervisor reference. Resume or CV, three work references with contact information, and a letter of interest. Ability to pass a criminal history background check. Employment Eligibility Regular staff who have been employed in their current position for the last six continuous months are eligible for openings being recruited through University‑Wide or Open Recruiting.
