Job Title: Level 4 RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 3x12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in Cath Lab License: RN License (New York Only) Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), Moderate Sedation trained Must-Have: - TAVR, Microclip, and Watchmen experience - Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics - Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis - Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever - Mechanical Circulatory Support experience: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD - Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA - Critical care or Cardiac experience Description: The Cath Lab is an inpatient and outpatient procedural lab focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. The Cath Lab has a comprehensive program with pre and post-procedural care holding areas. This practice model is rich with RN staff and CVT collaboration focusing on excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction. Candidates must have two years of Cath Lab experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Moderate sedation training is necessary. Telemetry experience is also required.
