Travel RN PACU

Candidates applying to this order must have a minimum of 3 years of recent full time experience as a Perioperative Care Center RN in a high volume hospital setting, with demonstrated proficiency in postoperative/post procedure phases of patient care. The PACU RN evaluates patients responses to treatment and interventions and manages pain according to the American Society of Peri-Anesthesia Nurses (ASPAN). The PACU RN anticipates surgical/procedural specific needs based on knowledge of procedures performed and pathophysiology, in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the hospital. BLS and ALS are required. Candidates with less experience or requiring extensive onboarding will not be considered. Must provide verifiable references from previous experience. Must be able to function independently in a fast paced surgical environment with the ability to "hit the ground running."
