LSS Summit Oaks seeks a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team and make a significant impact in the lives of teens and their families. If you are interested in enhancing your education in the mental health or social services field this is a great position for you.

Hours: Full-time or part-time internship positions available. Typical hours are evenings between 1pm-11pm, will include weekends and holidays.

Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour; dependent on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities: Provide residential care to youth ages 10 to 17 that have a variety of mental health, behavioral, substance abuse and legal issues. Works as part of an interdisciplinary team, conduct groups, supervise youth in community settings, and provide a positive and healthy environment through role modeling.

Qualifications:

• Have a high school diploma or GED required, currently enrolled a college program requiring an internship.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to complete orientation training according to agency program standards.
• Requires active auto-insurance, a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
• Must successfully complete all agency background checks, which include checks for criminal convictions, behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, and drug or sex crimes.
