Job Type Part Time Non‑exempt Hourly $15 - $18 Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders Assist with household tasks necessary to the client’s health care needs Accompany clients to appointments and outings Monitor and report changes in a client’s health or behavior Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Positive attitude and compassion to treat clients with dignity and respect High school diploma or educational equivalent Must meet state requirements for care‑giving services Ability to read, write and speak English at an average adult level Must have a valid and current state driver’s license and insurance Must have safe and reliable transportation to go to and from the client’s location and/or facilities and have a vehicle available during assignments in order to assist clients with their needs if required Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre‑employment screening including drug testing Physical Demands Able to lift, move, and assist clients.
