Nuclear Medicine Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position. This position requires 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday. The hours may vary between 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM depending on the schedule.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for conducting imaging procedures, particularly focusing on cardiac nuclear medicine studies, including myocardial perfusion imaging (MPIs). The technologist will operate a Digirad camera and ensure high-quality imaging results.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures according to protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment.
• Assist in the interpretation of images in collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• Experience with cardiac nuclear medicine (MPIs) is preferred.
• State licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
