Expert Data Scientist

Leading the evaluation-driven development strategy, the full-time Expert Data Scientist will define modeling approaches and evaluation frameworks, mentor team members, and oversee multiple agile workstreams while working remotely. Key responsibilities Define and champion the organization's evaluation-driven development framework and standards for modeling approaches and evaluation metrics Oversee multiple concurrent workstreams delivered through agile cycles, ensuring consistent delivery of measurable value Set architectural and MLOps direction for AI/ML platforms, managing costs and optimizing performance across data workloads Required qualifications Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field 10+ years of experience in data science/ML/analytics solutions with leadership at a portfolio or platform level Proven track record of selecting modeling approaches based on business context and demonstrating measurable outcomes Extensive hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML platforms and MLOps practices at scale Experience designing synthetic data strategies and conducting controlled real-world validation programs
