Mechanical Design Engineer

position: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Gloucester, MA (Onsite)
Duration : Long term
Rate: $60/HR on C2C or $50/HR on W2

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 10 years of relevant mechanical design experience in complex systems or precision equipment
• Strong knowledge and experience with engineering fundamentals: structural mechanics, materials, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
• Experience in semiconductor capital equipment, design of subsystems, vacuum systems, wafer handling, robotics, precision motion, facilities, Racks, structural Frames or Electromechanical packaging
• Strong proficiency in CAD tools (Creo / NX/ any other) and PLM systems (Windchill or Teamcenter or any other)
• Ability to independently manage technical assignments and engineering projects.
• Strong communication skills with experience working in global, cross-site teams
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, adapts quickly to new challenges, and communicates effectively through impactful presentations.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of the Applied Materials product life cycle or Capital equipment industry, including prototyping, material selection and manufacturing method
