Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient Radiation Oncology position requiring Epic proficiency and a SC or compact RN license.

Details

• Outpatient Radiation Oncology clinic setting
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no weekend or on-call requirements
• Traveler may be required to float between up to three outpatient clinic locations, though the primary need is at one location
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used; prior experience required

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or multi-state compact RN license; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered but must have the license active prior to start
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Chemotherapy certification or similar oncology credential preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of RN experience required
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• A radiation badge is required for this role
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on experience
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the standard travel rate; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any location within this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Online orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date
• During hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
