Gastonia Chevrolet GMC Buick Cadillac is under new ownership as of November 1st. We are committed to growth as a dealership as well as growth in the careers of our staff members and we are currently seeking Sales Consultants who desire growing with us.
As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you are highly skilled at discovering customers needs, and are adept at assisting customers find a vehicle that meets those needs by using a broad range of skills including the current technology, a vast knowledge of the product, and a working knowledge of the inventory. You are knowledgeable of the vehicle features in the GM lineup as well as competitive models, and can demonstrate these features to customers. Customer service skills are essential in todays market. This is not the car business from 20 years ago and those tactics are outdated. Good communication skills are essential, computer skills are helpful. Come join a winning team and learn from the best!

Key Qualifications
- Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the workday
- Outgoing and friendly, especially while handling objections
- Quality customer service skills and sales track record
- Strong interpersonal and communications, in-person and over the phone
- Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process
- Proficient in basic business math including percentages
- Capable of learning and using Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs
- Persistent, competitive and good work ethic
- Focuses on the customers needs to enhance dealership and personal sales
- Assist in cleaning and washing vehicles
