Role Overview
Apply your funds and contract expertise to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems for real-world legal work. This remote, part-time contractor opportunity centers on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining agreements, with a focus on improving how AI identifies risk, interprets contract language, and delivers precise legal analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves accuracy and precision.
- Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for consistent assessment of AI performance on contract tasks.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-supported contract review.
- Help shape the development and application of AI tools for legal practitioners.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
- Experience with fund management, fund formation, contract redlining, and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including LPAs, subscription agreements, and side letters.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical ability and the ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology, with experience working on cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives is preferred.

- Remote, part-time independent contractor role.
Compensation
- $80 to $105 per hour.
