Program Manager, Health Professions

To work collaboratively with allied health faculty, staff, and students to support activities of the allied health programs (except Nursing). This full-time administrative position coordinates outreach activities, assists with accreditation activities, and facilitates all programmatic activities. The employee is expected to work in a multi-cultural, diverse working environment. Note: This position will transfer to our Orchard Ridge campus effective Fall 2027 This description is intended to indicate the types of duties and responsibilities requested of the employee assigned this title. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the duties and responsibilities that may be required: Manages day-to-day operations of Health Professions. Assists program directors with related program issues, accreditation activities, student selection and application process, etc. Attends Information Sessions/Program Orientations to solve problems with registration, applications, etc. Serves as liaison with internal and external key stakeholders on events related to Health Professions. Serves as a resource for faculty, staff, and administration regarding Health Professions. Coordinates outreach events to promote Health Professions programs to the community, including attending offsite events, as well as providing onsite Health Professions tours and program information. Travels to external recruitment outreach events as a College representative for Health Professions. Maintains physical asset spreadsheet and monitors replacement cycle. Develops and implements processes for purchase and maintenance of equipment. Assists in facilitation of standard processes for programmatic activities (e.g., graphics and marketing requests, maintaining and updating webpage content). Assists Academic Dean in developing and maintaining the annual and projected budgets that supports departmental plans and operations, including capital requests/change requests. Collaborates with Economic Workforce Development (EWD) in coordinating programs, affiliation agreements, equipment/supplies needed. Assists with marketing of programs; writes copy and coordinates the development and production of marketing materials, both electronic and in print; selects target groups for marketing. Assists students and/or employees as needed (e.g., completing forms, giving directions, explaining College and program procedures, posting notices, etc.). Attends allied health advisory committee meetings (except Nursing). Collaborates with the Dean, or Associate Dean of Nursing and Health Professions, and, as indicated, the College General Counsel office to review clinical affiliation agreements and contracts for revisions, accuracy, and timeliness. Prepares and submits appropriate forms for liability insurance requests and Federal and State regulatory licenses. Works with IT and vendors on software and hardware upgrades and replacements. Maintains confidentiality in all student matters. Exhibits initiative, enthusiasm, collegiality, and teamwork in accomplishing the responsibilities of the position.
