Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Function independently while responding rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all patient and organizational matters
• Uphold and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization in accordance with Maine State Standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine or compact eligibility
• Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• Strong assessment, communication, and computer skills
• Ability to function independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Med/Surg unit in an acute care or hospital setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation platforms
