Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS required prior to starting date. ENPC within 90 days of hire. Must-Have: - 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an emergency room setting. - Teamwork mentality. - Ability to coach and provide real-time feedback. - Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The facility is recognized for its clinical quality and safety achievements. It serves as a referral center for trauma and stroke care. The department consists of 101 beds with a typical patient ratio of 4:1 for medical patients. Behavioral holds may increase the ratio to up to 7:1. Technical staff is available to assist with various duties. The department uses advanced equipment for patient care. Documentation is performed using an established electronic health record system. The role involves working every other weekend with flexibility in scheduling. Floating within the department may be required based on operational needs. Patient experience guidelines, including respectful behavior and communication, are prioritized. New employees must complete required certifications upon hiring. This department values teamwork and has a welcoming atmosphere. Staff enjoys serving a diverse community with many languages spoken.
