The Pizza Next Door is a brand new pizza place, located in Shingle Springs, CA, and is looking for skilled and dedicated chefs to join our team. If you have a knack for whipping up tasty dishes and thrive in a kitchen setting, we’d love to hear from you!

After years in the restaurant world at The Breakroom, we wanted to create a place that combines everything we love about going out to eat: really good food, a warm atmosphere, a little creativity, and people who genuinely make you feel welcome.

As a pizza maker at The Pizza Next Door, you'll play a key role in bringing our menu to life and ensuring our customers leave with a smile. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection, following our recipes and standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas and equipment.
• Assisting with inventory management and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
• Upholding food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

We’re seeking candidates who bring both skill and enthusiasm to the table. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• At least 1 year of experience working in a kitchen or similar role.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs , as some tasks may require handling heavy items (aka flour)
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for cooking.
• A sense of urgency paired with focus and calmness
• A team-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
