Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of injuries or diseases. Operate independently with sound judgment to ensure accurate, timely results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Execute radiology procedures following established protocols and safety regulations.
• Assess patients and monitor their condition throughout imaging procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure cooperation and understanding.
• Maintain documentation and charting in electronic health record systems, with preference for Epic experience.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal safety, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in orienting new staff members and perform specific procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold current CA CRT Licensure and ARRT (XR) Certification.
• Possess BLS (AHA) certification and fluoroscopy licensure if applicable.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of clinical radiology experience.
• Have valid state license and be available for immediate lab work, with travel within 50 miles.
• Be willing to work Day shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend on-call every third weekend.
• Provide a clean background record, free of DUIs or recent background hits, prior to submission.
