Senior Audit ManagerThe Dean Dorton & Rödl USA Joint Venture is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join our fast-growing international public accounting practice in our Cincinnati, OH office. You will work with a select team providing audit services to predominately US-inbound international businesses.What you will do:Manage assurance engagements from start to finish, including reviewing workpapers and financial statements & preparing assurance files and binders for assurance director reviewDevelop and maintain productive relationships with client management throughout the yearEstablish expectations of value to be deliveredParticipate in performing audit procedures for assigned clients, especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issuesCollaborate to plan engagement objectives that comply with professional standards and appropriately address riskDevelop an understanding of the client's industry and recognize key performance indicators, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developmentsStay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the audit clientDevelop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the teamDelegate work to team members successfullyConduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/trainingUse technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service deliveryMaintain professional education and continually develop skillsMaintain cooperative relationships with other teamsUnderstand the firm and its clients and actively assess/present ways to apply knowledge and servicesDevelop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externallyInterdisciplinary cooperation with tax consultantsBusy Season (January - mid-April)Travel is moderate, generally during busy season
