Our client is a large tier-1 automotive supplier with manufacturing locations across North America. They have a manufacturing facility north of Dayton, OH where they employee over 800 full-time employees. You will be provided excellent benefits with full family plans that cost as low as $50 per month! Benefits start the first of the month after hire date. In addition to a great base salary range, there is straight-time overtime pay on top of base salary.

The current opening is for a Project Engineer. Main duties include:

• Perform tool sourcing and costing activities
• Develop stamping processes and press assignments
• Analyze sheet metal product formability and develop countermeasures
• Optimize material usage
• Develop manufacturing schedules and manage tool progress
• Perform design reviews and tooling buy-offs

Qualifications include:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Entry-level with co-op experience please apply
• Prior CAD experience, Catia V5 is ideal
• CAE/FEA simulation experience
• Ability to travel as necessary
• Must be self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, highly analytical
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
