Associate Attorney

We are looking to hire an ambitious associate attorney to join our established real estate practice . Experience is preferred but not required. Applicant must be eager to serve our clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, with emphasis on title searching, document preparation, financing, and closings. Attention to detail, organizational skills, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to give counsel to staff and clients is essential to this role. If you enjoy meeting new people, resolving conflicts in a positive manner, and providing clients with practical advice, you will excel in this job. This position is in office full time . Compensation will be based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience not required, but is preferred JD from an accredited law school Current, active license Bar License in North Carolina and a current appointment as a NC Notary Public or the ability to obtain this qualification within thirty days of starting work Strong work ethic Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Maintain a high level of customer service Proficient with Microsoft applications RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to) Conducting title searches; working with title insurance companies; ensuring title requirements are met for closing Daily communication with all closing parties

LOCATION

The Jonas Law Firm PLLC – 1258 N NC 16 Business, Denver, NC Associate will work primarily in the Denver NC location with the expectation to travel to Lincolnton on occasion
