Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner

Concord Physicians Solutions

Lima, OH

We are seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant for an ongoing Critical Care locum opportunity in Ohio. This position offers flexible monthly scheduling in a closed ICU with no procedural responsibilities.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Ongoing assignment
  • Approximately 5 10 shifts per month
  • No call

Schedule

  • 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
  • Flexible monthly coverage

Practice Setting

  • Closed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Community hospital
  • Meditech EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Manage critically ill adult patients
  • Collaborate with hospitalists and nocturnists
  • Develop and adjust treatment plans
  • Daily ICU rounding
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care

No procedures required

Coverage Model

  • Hospitalist physicians onsite during the day
  • Two Critical Care APPs on day shift
  • Dedicated nocturnist overnight
  • Collaborative ICU team

Requirements

  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
  • ACNP certification required for Nurse Practitioners
  • Active Ohio license
  • Active Ohio DEA
  • AANP or ANCC certification (NP)
  • NCCPA certification (PA)
  • ACLS required

Credentialing

  • Standard credentialing documentation required
  • Case logs required based on requested privileges
  • CME attestation required
