Role And Responsibilities Answers and directs departmental phone calls. Receives and distributes office mail. Schedules and organizes appointments; takes minutes during departmental meetings. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications. Proofreads and types documents and correspondence produced by department. Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters. May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports. Researches and compares incentive compensation plans offered by demographically comparable organizations; assesses competitors’ plans and makes recommendations for enhancements or improvements required to keep the organization’s plans competitive and effective. Facilitates accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers. Completes records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies. Maintains knowledge of economic conditions, labor market, and other factors related to ensuring the organization provides competitive and reasonable benefits and compensation scales and structures. Develop, administer, and maintain talent management processes. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications And Education Requirements Three years of experience of administrative training and administering compensation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Extensive knowledge of payroll and compensation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Preferred Experience And Skills Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP This position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their Supervisor immediately.
