Assures necessary communication with the healthcare team to assist the patient in meeting their goals./liliUnder the direction of the RN preceptor, performs nursing interventions and documents according to policy and procedure assuring patient safety. Ie: medication administration, medication reconciliation, fall prevention, VTE prevention, and all prescribed interventions as appropriate./liliAssists the RN preceptor in the practice of professional nursing by providing direct patient care to promote patient comfort and facilitate the performance of diagnostic and treatment procedures as outlined in the nursing care plan. Performs assigned tasks that make include activities of daily living such as dietary and hygiene needs.
