The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc./ppScope: Coordinates all activities related to nursing functions and patient care, within budgetary constraints. Adheres to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Supervises nursing staff that provides professional nursing care to patients. Must recognize physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards./ph3Responsibilities/h3pKey Responsibilities/pulliClinical Oversight ulliOversees the clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities./liliEstablishes and maintains all nursing personnel files. Ensures all licensing and certification criteria are met./liliAssists with the review and revision of clinical policies and procedures./li/ul/liliEnsure adequate staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics ulliMaintains effective nursing staff coverage and operating costs for the practice and/or satellites within budgetary parameters./liliParticipates in the interviewing and recruiting of nursing personnel./liliPerforms tasks assigned to staff nurses as necessary/liliDemonstrates working knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules and coordinates employee staffing including vacations, sick leave and overtime./li/ul/liliEnsure clinical operations and practice consistent with organizational objectives ulliMonitors and evaluates patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures./liliDirects the correct use of charge codes and coordinates education of all staff in correct procedures per reimbursement guidelines/liliDevelops new services and activities for patients, families and staff in accordance with practice service objectives./li/ul/liliStaff Development ulliImplement staff retention and training programs w/ support from clinic leads/liliCoordinates, implements, and assists with staff training, in-services, and internal developmental programs for nursing staff./liliAssists with annual performance evaluations for nursing department staff./liliServes as mentor/preceptor and provides day to day guidance to less experienced nurses/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ul/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pMinimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):/ppEducation/Training /ppGraduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred/ppRN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state./ppCurrent CPR certification required./ppBusiness Experience /ppMinimum five years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least three years oncology experience./ppOne-year leadership experience preferred/ppSpecialized Knowledge/Skills /ppOncology certification preferred/ppChemotherapy Immunotherapy provider card preferred/ppWorking Conditions:/pulliEnvironment (Office, warehouse, etc.) Traditional office environment.
