Analytics Engineer

I'm working with a long-established global business operating across payments, secure technology, digital identity and manufacturing . They're investing heavily in technology, data and analytics, and are looking for an Analytics Engineer to help build the data foundations behind better product and business decisions. The Role This is a hybrid analytics / data role. You'll work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Engineering to turn business questions into useful data, reporting and insight. You'll be involved in areas such as: Building data models and trusted sources of truth Defining KPIs and product metrics Creating dashboards and self-service analytics Product usage, customer behavior, funnels and retention Experimentation and A/B testing Forecasting and deeper analytical work Improving data quality and reporting processes The role is less about simply producing reports and more about helping teams understand what the data is telling them and what they should do next . The Right Person Ideally, you'll have: 3+ years in Analytics Engineering, Product Analytics or Data Analytics Strong SQL Experience with tools such as dbt / SQLMesh Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks or similar BI experience with Tableau, Looker, Mode, Hex or similar Working knowledge of Python or R Experience working with Product and business teams Confidence turning vague business questions into clear analysis Strong communication skills and the ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders Experience with product metrics, customer behavior, funnels, cohorts or retention Experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, ecommerce or enterprise software would be a plus. Location This is an onsite role in the Greater Boston area, near Dedham, MA . Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States.
